It started with theft that kept getting worse

Back home in Sweden, vehicle theft has been climbing for years. Four-wheelers, dirt bikes, cars, even bicycles left locked in the yard. Anyone who has been through it knows the feeling. First the disbelief, then the sinking realization that it is really gone, then the fight with an insurance company that often has more gaps in its coverage than answers.

It is the same story we hear from people in the United States. Rising theft, blind spots in what insurance actually covers, and families left paying for something that was never their fault.

So John and Anders decided to do something about it. They set out to build a tracker that was genuinely affordable, tough enough for real conditions, and simple enough that anyone could set it up in minutes. No subscriptions, no fine print, no gimmicks. That became SmartTag.

What started as one product to protect vehicles has grown into a small lineup of smart, practical gadgets built around the same idea: useful things that quietly make everyday life easier, at a price that makes sense.
